Women’s events have always been life changing for my sister and I.  From the moment we attended our first one as a Christ Follower, we connected to Holy Spirit in such a tangible and real way.  SO much so that we knew we wanted our mom to have that same experience.  

 

We realized very quickly upon getting our tickets, paying for parking and getting snacks the entire trip was going to cost a fortune.  However, the experience we knew would be worth it….so we both put our resources together and got our mom to the conference!  AND… it was truly amazing seeing her experience Jesus and connect deeper with Him.

 

She was on fire! And so were we.  We could not wait to see her continue to grow in her faith and get settled in a local church however that was not going to happen.

 

Church hurt is and was real and she had been burned too many times to even try a new church.  With that being said she never found a place to belong with other ladies.

 

We were heartbroken - we knew God was stirring in our hearts to create something for women that would look different. That would not cost them a thing other than their commitment to come to an event. The venues hosting would be provided contact information for those attending with the intention of connecting ladies that may not have a church home. 

 

God has continued to take At the Well all over the US and cultivated a place where women could grow in an authentic relationship with Jesus and with other sisters in Christ.
